The 2024 Defond Carbon Emissions Management Project has achieved a "B" grade in the CDP rating
Glad to announce that our 2024 Defond Carbon Emissions Project has been awarded a “B” grade in the CDP rating. Over three consecutive years, through collective self – learning and in – depth research, our team has been steadily improving our score from the lowest “D -” grade to this remarkable “B”. Words can’t convey our excitement. This achievement not only highly recognizes the company’s carbon emissions management and sustainable development efforts but also strongly proves that we’ve earned our customers’ highest trust.
During our participation in the CDP carbon emissions project, we deeply realized how hard it was to gain trust. To disclose carbon emissions data truthfully and accurately, all departments collaborated closely. From data collection and sorting to analysis, evaluation, and calculation, every step was executed with precision. We understood that these data were more than just a set of figures. They served as an important basis for customers to understand our environmental protection efforts and determination to achieve sustainable development. I still remember that during the data collection stage, confronted with a huge and complex data system, our colleagues concerned went to great lengths to visit each business unit and check every data source one by one. We would verify even the slightest difference in the data repeatedly to ensure its reliability. It is precisely this rigorous attitude that has enabled us to convey a signal of trustworthiness to our customers. Our customers’ trust is not only an affirmation of our past efforts but also an expectation for our future development.
In our partnership with SBD and BOSCH, we can clearly feel their recognition of us. After learning that we received a “B” rating, they said this rating made them more convinced of our steadfast progress on the path of sustainable development and boosted their confidence in our partnership. This is undoubtedly the greatest accolade to our work and also makes us deeply aware of our heavy responsibilities.
Trust is not only a responsibility but also a driving force for progress. To live up to our customers’ trust, we will take this rating as a new starting point and continuously optimize carbon emissions management. On the one hand, our company will invest in more environmentally friendly photovoltaic technology equipment in the new factory. We will also explore more low-carbon and green development models. For example, we plan to introduce advanced energy-saving and emission-reduction equipment in production to cut carbon emissions from the source. On the other hand, we will strengthen cooperation with suppliers to promote the green transformation of the entire supply chain. By jointly formulating environmental protection standards and encouraging greener production methods, we aim to achieve sustainable development across the entire industrial chain.
In the future, we will translate customers’ trust into concrete actions, hold ourselves to higher standards, and constantly enhance our capabilities in carbon emissions management and sustainable development. We believe only by fulfilling our responsibilities and persevering in our efforts can we sustain this trust and advance further and more steadily on the road to sustainable development.
