May 2026
Recently, SGS and Defond jointly conducted the special training of “Six Sigma Green to Black”, which was successfully concluded. This special training aims to empower key quality talents with the help of SGS professional ability, deepen the cost reduction, efficiency increase and continuous improvement, and help Defond forge deep quality competitiveness towards the future!
Nearly 35 key personnel from the core departments of quality, engineering and production from the Dongguan and Hong Kong of Defond actively participated in this training, showing a high learning enthusiasm and collaborative spirit; SGS experts provided a series of customized training and technical guidance based on the characteristics and practical problems of Defond products, and the two sides jointly completed an advanced journey of quality and ability with deep integration of theory and actual combat.

Today, the competition in manufacturing industry is increasingly focusing on “quality” and “efficiency”. The competition among enterprises has gone far beyond the simple product dimension and is reflected in the competition between quality talent system and continuous improvement ability at a deeper level. Defond has been deeply involved in product research and development and high-end manufacturing for many years, always taking quality as the cornerstone, and constantly meeting and exceeding customer expectations through continuous optimization.
In the special training of “Six Sigma Green to Black” tailored by SGS for Defond, the expert from SGS Training Center systematically taught DMAIC theory and core tools of black belt, such as MSA, SPC, process capability analysis, etc., and in-depth explained key knowledge such as hypothesis testing, multiple regression analysis, SOV, DOE, etc., to help Defond staff master the complete methodology from problem identification to scheme optimization.
In order to ensure the effectiveness of the training, the course not only pays attention to theoretical explanation, but also strengthens practical exercises. The expert of SGS training center leads Defond staff to use the analysis software to gradually complete the practical exercises of various analysis tools, and immediately applies the tools they have learned to the group projects. This mode of “learning through doing, doing through learning ” has significantly improved the mastery efficiency and application ability of Six Sigma tools and methods, and realized the effective transformation from knowledge to practice.
The special training of “Six Sigma Green to Black” jointly carried out by SGS and Defond not only improved the echelon of high-quality talents of Defond, but also further promoted enterprises to integrate the Six Sigma concept into the whole process of production management, thus realizing the all-dimensional improvement of quality management level and customer satisfaction.
